Placed at the entrance of care facilities and care areas (reception, emergency department and consultation, …), this compact and mobile unit is equipped with preventive guidelines about the simple gestures to adopt to limit transmission risks, in order to inform patients and visitors.
*Protective gestures and measures against flu in care facilities
Protective measures represent the whole set of methods to limit contagious agents transmission. It also concerns:
• Hand Hygiene : in care facilities, hand hygiene represents an essential measure to limit infectious agent’s cross-transmission. One of the priorities is the use of hydro alcoholic solutions.
• Mask using : in care facilities, wearing a surgical mask is recommended for the caregivers or the visitors who are in contact with a patient with respiratory infection; for the patient present at the emergency department or at a consultation.
• Gestures in case of cough and sneezes : to cover its mouth with the elbow/arm or a tissue, to blow the nose with a single use tissue to throw immediately in the trash.
